Hi, i’m sydney
I am currently a UX/UI Designer, living in Arlington, VA. I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a concentration in Visual Communication Design and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, as well a minor in Art History from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. While this may seem like an odd combination of degrees and focus, I think my background in psychology allows me to be a better UX/UI designer. I have new insights into how people think and can bring a level of empathy into products and designs.
As a designer, I’m interested in how to create experiences that are impactful, intuitive, efficient and fun for people to use. For the last 4+ years I have been working with agencies, helping them deliver better experiences across Android, iOS and web for our clients. Through my work I strive to understand people deeply and create products that make their lives better.
